Listing moderation policy

What we review

We review the display name, destination link and one-line message attached to every paid claim. The system validates every submitted link and the site owner manually reviews new and reported listings. A listing can be reviewed before or after publication.

What is not allowed

• Illegal content or links to illegal goods and services.
• Hate, harassment, threats, graphic violence or sexual content.
• Fraud, impersonation, phishing, malware, deceptive claims or spam.
• Gambling, weapons, controlled substances or other regulated products.
• Personal or confidential information shared without permission.
• Copyright or trademark infringement.
• Links that change after approval to evade these rules.

How enforcement works

We can hide or remove a listing immediately when it violates these rules, presents a safety risk, or is required to be removed by law or by our payment provider. We may block the destination URL and prevent repeat submissions. The leaderboard rank may remain unassigned while a claim is under review.

Reports and appeals

Anyone can report a listing by emailing hello@ownthis.day with the date, listing name, URL and reason. We prioritize urgent safety reports and aim to review ordinary reports within two business days. Claim owners may use the same address to appeal a decision.
